Said plainly

Whose Work Is Whose

Our leadership has delivered some notable interiors. That is leadership experience, not company project history, and the distinction matters.

Bring the drawings at whatever stage they are. An honest range and the decisions that move it, before anyone quotes.

What our leadership has delivered

Interiors and residential work at the Pierre Hotel, 15 Central Park West, 812 and 1136 Fifth Avenue, and 730 Park Avenue. Institutional work including the Hospital for Special Surgery FDR expansion, Emigrant Savings Bank, the Anti-Defamation League in New York, and the United Nations "Arc of the Return". Deep foundations in tidal conditions at 1515 Surf Avenue. The largest residential geothermal project in New York State, and work delivered under the New York State Brownfield Cleanup Program.

Why we phrase it that way

That work was delivered by Romco leadership before and alongside this firm. It is genuine, verifiable experience and it is the reason we can take on technically difficult projects. It is not, however, this company's project history, and writing "we built the Pierre" would be a false claim.

It would also be an easy one to make. A great deal of construction marketing blurs exactly this line, and the blur is usually deliberate.

What that experience actually buys you

Not prestige. What it buys is judgement on the hard parts — deep foundations in tidal ground, working in occupied and sensitive buildings, coordinating trades on projects where the tolerance for error is very low.

That is why we say it at all. Not as a name to drop, but because it explains why we take on the projects most Florida residential builders decline.

FAQ

Common questions

Did Romco build the Pierre Hotel?
No. Romco leadership delivered work there, before and alongside this firm. We state that distinction rather than implying otherwise.
Why does the distinction matter?
Because a false claim about experience is a false claim, however common it is in this industry.
Can I see Florida projects?
Ask on the call and we will discuss current and recent Florida work directly.
What does that experience actually give me?
Judgement on technically difficult work — deep foundations, tidal sites, occupied buildings.
